Outdoor - Gonzalez competed in all six meets during the outdoor track and field season... finished third overall at the Texas Twilight with a throw of 107-11 in the javelin... posted a fourth place finish at the Tom Tellez Invitational in the javelin with a throw of 92-11... collected eight place laurels at the ASU/David Noble Relays with a throw of 113-3 in the javelin... finished 11th overall in the javelin with a throw of 93-3 at the Bobcat Open.

Roma High School
Gonzalez was part of a 4x100-meter relay squad that finished as the district runner-ups and qualified for the regional meet... was a member of a 4x800-meter relay team that finished third overall at the district championships during her senior season... selected as the Best Female Student-Athlete in three sports for Roma High School... was a standout on the basketball court where she earned first team all-district honors as a senior... garnered honorable mention all-district laurels during her junior campaign... selected as the Most Valuable Player for the Gladiators' basketball team during her senior season... earned five letters during her prep career - two in basketball, two in track and field and one in cross country... was a member of the Student Council.

Off the Track
Gonzalez is the daughter of Joel and Rosalinda Gonzalez... was born on Jan. 30, 1985... has three brothers - Joel, Abraham and Josue - and one sister - Priscilla... majoring in kinesiology with a minor in health education.
