A product of Weslaco High School, Hlozek finished fourth at the Texas State Track and Field Championships during her sophomore season in the pole vault... captured three consecutive district championships and one regional crown in the pole vault during her prep career... set a meet record at the Weslaco High School Meet in the pole vault... earned four letters in track and field at Weslaco High School... was a three-time All-American cheerleader during her prep career... helped her cheerleading squad earn a berth at the national championships during her senior season... was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
