As a Freshman in 2003 - Dameworth proved to be a very versatile player for the Lady Broncs in her first season, playing both setter and outside hitter. In her first collegiate match, the UTPA freshman had 47 assists against Lamar (Aug. 29) followed by a 34-assist and 14-dig performance the next game against North Texas (Aug. 30). In the third game of the season, she recorded 68 assists in a five-game match against Lehigh. That mark was the fourth best single-game performance in program history. On the season, Dameworth finished third on the team in assists. She recorded eight games of 20 or more assists, including three matches of 40 or more. She had three double-doubles on the season (assists-digs). Dameworth finished sixth on the squad in blocks and had her best defensive match of the season against Texas A&M - International (Sept. 27) where she recorded 7.0 blocks. The El Paso, TX, native had two matches of nine kills at University of Texas - San Antonio (Oct. 15) and against Texas - El Paso (Oct. 31).
