Named first team All-Independent for the
third year in a row as a junior in 2002......Led UTPA in kills, kills per
game, digs and and digs per game for the second year in a row... Ranks second in
both kills and digs on the all-time list, should shortly become the only Lady
Bronc with both 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs in her career....Was in double
figures in kills 25 times, with 24 against Texas A&M-Kingsville.....Reached
double figures in digs 14 times, and had 19 against Texas A&M-Kingsville.....Hit
.727 against Texas Southern..... Made the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and the
Bronc Pride 3.0 Club while earning Dean’s List 2nd Honors.....Named first team
All-Independent, and Independent Offensive Most Valuable Player as a sophomore
in 2001....Also named to the All-Tournament Team at the Independent
Tournament and earned MVP honors as she led the Lady Broncs to a successful
defense of their championship....Topped UTPA in kills, kills per game, digs and
digs per game.....Had three service aces in a match three times, and had six
blocks against Centenary.....Named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and the
Dean’s List, as well as the Bronc Pride 3.0 Club.....Ranked second in kills and
third in kills per game and digs as a freshman in 2000.....Had a
career-high 28 kills against St. Mary’s and a career-best 27 digs in the same
match...Named first team All-Independent.... Named All-Tournament at the
Independent Tournament..... A member of the Volleyball Hall of Fame at WALNUT
HIGH SCHOOL, she was named first team All-Baseline League and team MVP in
each of her last three seasons....First team All-San Gabriel Valley....Member of
the Honor Roll, the Dean’s List and the Athletic Council....Staff member of
Quill and Scroll, the literary magazine...Played for the Rancho Valley club
and the Impact Volleyball team....
Born May 6, 1982.......The daughter of Jane and Jerry Muszynski.....Has one
brother, Logan.....Majoring in Marketing at Texas-Pan American.
