2006 [Junior Season]
The UTPA middle blockers concluded her first season with the Lady Broncs ranked first on the team in block solos (20), second in block assists (25) and total blocks (45.0) and third in kills (239), kills per game (2.28), total attacks (726) and hitting percentage (.105)... cited to the UTPA Women's Volleyball Invitational All-Tournament Team as well as the IPFW Women's Volleyball Invitational this past season... recorded a career-high 15 kills to go along with seven digs and three total blocks against North Texas (Aug. 26) at the TSU/CenturyTel Tournament... posted 13 matches of 10 or more kills and recorded at least 1.0 block in 26 of 30 matches... collected at least 10 kills in each of the three matches at the National Independent Tournament... collected 12 kills, a career-high 5.0 blocks and two digs against North Dakota State (Nov. 10) at the National Independent Tournament... recorded 13 kills and five digs against Texas State (Sept. 1) at the UTPA Women's Volleyball Invitational... posted 12 kills against North Florida (Sept. 23) and 11 kills to go along with a .333 hitting percentage against Robert Morris (Sept. 22) at the IPFW Women's Volleyball Invitational... notched 11 kills and a career-high eight digs against Texas A&M-International (Sept. 4)... posted 10 kills and a career-best .368 hitting percentage in a five-set match against The University of Texas at San Antonio (Oct. 10)... saw action in 105 games during her first season with the squad... earned Dean's List Second Honors during the fall semester... selected to the Bronc Pride 3.0 Club during both the fall and spring semesters... garnered UTPA Athletic Director's Honor Roll laurels for the first time in her career.

College of Southern Idaho
Schaal helped the College of Southern Idaho defeat Miami-Dade Community College capture the 2005 NJCAA National Championship en route to finishing with a 50-2 record... appeared in 33 matches, averaging 1.67 kills per game, while finishing with a .197 hitting percentage... ranked sixth on the squad with 92 kills and 233 total attacks... posted 85 digs during her sophomore campaign while averaging 1.55 digs per game... blocked 24 total attacks... recorded a hitting percentage of .240 in her freshman season with the Golden Eagles, accumulating 33 kills in 75 total attacks... notched 22 digs, nine blocks and four service aces in her rookie campaign with the College of Southern Idaho.

High School
Schaal was selected as the Most Valuable Player at Filer High School during her final three seasons with the program... named the Most Improved Player award recipient as a freshman... earned all-tournament selections at the Wood River High School and Twin Falls High School tournaments... posted a top-mark of 14 kills in a single match during her senior season... earned seven letters at Filer High School - four in track and field and three in volleyball... posted a perfect 4.0 grade point average during her prep career... was a member of the National Honor Society... selected as Miss Magic Valley during her senior year.

Off the Court
Schaal is the daughter of Lynn and Dorette Schaal... has three sisters - Chantel, Danielle and Leah - and one brother - Carson... was born on July 29, 1986... majoring in kinesiology.
