2007 [Junior Season]
In her junior season, Trinidad appeared in 105 where she averaged 1.98 digs per game, 0.16 assists per game and 0.18 service aces per game... posted a career-high 18 digs versus Birmingham-Southern (Oct. 13)... collected 14 digs and two kills against Sam Houston State (Aug. 31)... recorded 12 digs versus Texas Southern (Nov. 10)... registered 12 digs in a five-set match versus Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (Sept. 8)... recorded nine digs against Tulane (Sept. 1), Northern Illinois (Sept. 7), UTSA (Sept. 15) and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (Oct. 9)...collected 12 digs at the National Independent Tournament... earned All-Academic Team honors for the first time in her career.
2006 [Sophomore Season]
Trinidad was one of the most improved players for the Lady Broncs during the 2006 campaign... recorded career-highs in nine statistical categories, including digs (107), assists (11) and service aces (11)... recorded three matches of 10 or more digs during the season, including a career-high 13 digs against North Dakota State (Nov. 10) at the National Independent Tournament... collected 11 digs in the following match of the National Independent Tournament against IPFW (Nov. 10) where she also dished out a career-high three assists... posted her first career double-digit digs performance against South Dakota State (Oct. 6) when she finished with 10 digs in the match... recorded a career-high two service aces on three occasions... collected nine digs, two assists against North Dakota State (Oct. 21)... recorded seven digs and two service aces at The University of Texas at San Antonio (Oct. 10)... recorded seven digs, two assists and one kill in the season finale against Providence (Nov. 11) at the National Independent Tournament... registered eight digs against South Dakota State (Oct. 20), Lamar (Oct. 31) and Utah Valley State (Nov. 4)... appeared in 69 games during the 2006 season where she averaged 1.55 digs per game, 0.16 assists per game and 0.16 service aces per game... earned Bronc Pride 3.0 Club accolades during the fall semester.
2005 [Freshman Season]
In her rookie campaign with the Lady Broncs, Trinidad appeared in nine matches, including 19 games, en route to earning her first letter with the squad... saw action in three matches at the National Independent Tournament where she averaged 2.1 digs per game... posted a career-high eight digs against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (Nov. 11)... collected seven digs versus Northern Colorado (Nov. 10) and six digs against North Dakota State (Nov. 12)... recorded one kill against both Cincinnati (Sept. 2) and North Dakota State... finished the season averaging 1.16 digs per game, 0.11 assists per game and 0.11 kills per game.
High School
Trinidad was a second team all-district selection during her senior season at Mercedes High School... earned Most Valuable Player honors in her final campaign... participated in the All-Rio Grande Valley East and West Senior Showcase game... helped her prep squad to a third-place ranking in District 32-4A... won six letters in high school - three in volleyball, two in basketball and one in softball... was a team Co-Most Valuable Player on the hardwood... cited as a district honorable mention selection... earned second team all-district laurels on the softball squad... award with the Algebra II and Business Computer Awards... was a member of the National Society of High School Scholars.

Trinidad is the daughter of Guillermo and Mary Lou Trinidad... was born on August 12, 1986... has one brother - Diego - and one sister - Yesenia... majoring in kinesiology and business administration.
