The University of Texas-Pan American women's volleyball team hosted the 4-on-4 volleyball tournament on Saturday (Apr. 26) at the UTPA Fieldhouse where three teams were selected as winners of the tournament.

In the gold bracket, collecting first place laurels was Club Santos, coming in second place was Team Toddy and finishing in third place was the Scorpions.

In the silver bracket, Marci's Team recorded a first place finish in pool one, the RGV Juniors collected second place honors in pool two and team Tonka finished third in pool three.

In the bronze bracket, Team Jordan finished first in pool one while Slim Slow came in second place in pool two and The Outlaws collected a third place finish in pool three.

The women's volleyball program would like to send special thanks to Wendy's for supplying lunch for all the participants, Miracle Medical Equipment and Supplies for providing tournament t-shirts and to all the teams that participated in the event.
