Outdoor - The UTPA sophomore recorded a third place finish at the Border Olympics with a time of 4:50.64 in the 1,500-meter race... crossed the end line in fourth place in the 800-meter race with a time of 2:18.23 at the Bobcat Open... collected a fourth place finish at the Tom Tellez Invitational with a time of 4:50.29 in the 1,500-meter race... earned fifth place accolades in the 1,500-meter race with a time of 4:52.35 at the Texas Twilight... Indoor - Bey competed in one meet during the indoor track and field season... finished 18th overall at the University of Houston with a time of 5:20.98 in the 800-meter race .

2006
Outdoor - The UTPA freshman recorded a pair of runner-up laurels during her first season with the outdoor track and field program... finished second overall at the Border Olympics with a time of 2:26.44 in the 800-meter race... crossed the end line in second place in the 800-meter race with a season-best mark of 2:16.34 at the ASU/David Noble Relays... collected a ninth-place finish at the Texas Invitational with a time of 2:21.50 in the 800-meter race... earned 13th-place accolades in the 800-meter race with a time of 2:20.47 at the Texas Twilight... Indoor - Bey competed in a pair of meets during the indoor season in the 800-meter race... finished fifth overall at the UH/RunSport All-Comers Meet with a time of 2:22.30 in the 800 meters... Classroom - Bey earned UTPA Athletic Director's Honor Roll laurels for the first time in her career... selected as a Bronc Pride 3.0 Club recipient during both the fall and spring semesters.

High School
Bey was a member of the 2003 Texas Class 5A State Champion track and field team... was named Ms. Cross Country and earned the Top Newcomer Award for her prep program.

Off the Track
Bey is the daughter of Dwight and Glenda Bey... has two sisters - Passion and Jocelyn... was born Sept. 19, 1986... majoring in education... chose UTPA over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
