Flores was a four-year letterman in cross country, three-year letterman in track and a two-year letterman in powerlifting for Cotulla HS...was a regional qualifer in cross country during her tenure at Cotulla HS...recorded a 2:39 in the 800-meter run for her personal best...was part of the National Honor Society and Texas Scholar.

Flores is the daughter of Marcelo and Rosa Flores...born Sept. 16, 1988...has one brother - Marcelo...majoring in dietetrics.
