High School
Marmolejo earned three varsity letters in cross country and one varsity letter in track.Marmolejo was a cross country regional qualifier in 2006, as well as a UIL regional qualifier in 2006 and 2008. She was a member of JROTC and placed first place for the physical training team. Marmolejo was also the UIL computer science district champ two years in a row. She was a member of the national honor society, skills USA and computer science club.

Off the Track
Marmolejo is the daughter of Jose and Lucia Marmolejo...has two sisters, Lucia and Cinthia...majoring in computer science.
