UTPA will have a glimpse at Great West Conference foe Houston Baptist before heading for conference at the end of October.
"This will be a good opportunity to match up against HBU at this point of the year before conference. We will be able to see where we stand at least against one of our competitors in conference," said head cross country coach Dave Hartman.
The field will consist of six teams with Lamar, Sam Houston, Texas Southern, UTPA, and HBU in attendance.
"This will the ladies final tune-up before conference. We've had two weeks of solid training so it's a bit exciting to see where we are at," Hartman added.
