Aimee Trantham begins her second year as Coordinator of Athletic Marketing at The University of Texas-Pan American.
Trantham comes to the Rio Grande Valley after serving as the Graduate Director of Marketing and Promotions at Belmont University in Nashville, TN, for the previous two years. During her time with the Bruins' Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, Trantham created marketing and promotional packages for all men's and women's basketball contests as well as directed all game management aspects for basketball, soccer, volleyball and baseball.
The newly-named Coordinator of Athletic Marketing produced and directed Bruin Madness and served as a supervisor for the school spirit teams and student-athletes support groups. She served on various host committees for NCAA Division I Conference Events, including the Atlantic Sun Men's Basketball Tournament.
Prior to her position with the Bruins' athletics, Trantham was the Coordinator of Campus Recreation at Belmont University where she developed campus recreation programs, which included intramurals, special events and sports clubs. She planned and coordinated the BU Dead Day Carnival, which was an end of the year school-wide event. Trantham also served on the Student Affairs Hiring Committee and Summit Student Leadership Retreat Steering Committee.
Trantham was the Coordinator of Campus Recreations at her alma mater Howard Payne University in Brownwood, TX, where she served as the Intramural Director as well as the Women's Tennis Coach for one year.
A graduate of Howard Payne University in 1999 with a degree in Sports Recreation and Marketing, Trantham earned her master's degree in Sports Administration in 2005 from Belmont.
Trantham currently resides in McAllen.
